Napa Valley is closer than you think.

With the recent opening of Napa Home on Oak Lawn in Highland Park, you can get a quick fix of luxe Napa goods, including some unusual gourmet items.

Although most of the store is dedicated to stylish tabletop and home accessories, foodies will gravitate to the gourmet nook on the front wall.

Among the finds: Napa Home Smoked Sea Salt ($6 for a 4-ounce jar) and Round Pond Estate Blood Orange Olive Oil ($24 for 350 milliliters).

The smoky salt adds depth to soups, stews, even salads; sprinkle it on a summery tomato-cucumber salad or grilled steak.

The artisan orange olive oil isn't just for salads; use it for marinades, or drizzle it on grilled fish at the table.

Not all the store's food items are from Napa Valley; the non-crystallizing Tupelo Honey ($18 for 20 ounces) hails from Savannah, Ga.

Napa Home is at 4012 Oak Lawn Ave.; 214-520-4880.
